“The rights of every man are diminished when the rights of one man are threatened.”
John F. Kennedy
The Law Offices Of Thompson Gould Page, LLC
Established in 1992 by our principal attorney, Thom Page, the firm has earned a reputation for providing skilled legal representation and personal client service in a cost-effective and compelling manner.
You may have heard of us because of our cutting-edge litigation on behalf of animals, including our federal lawsuits challenging, on constitutional grounds, town and state governments concerning dogs often held for years in municipal pounds facing a death sentence. The standards and passion we set for ourselves in being the David against Goliath in these intense endeavors follows through to all our client matters.
While we are a general practice, we limit our focus to areas where we have gained particular and pertinent experience over the years. Whether forming, advising or litigating on behalf of a small business, working through contentious real estate transactions, settling an estate with various family members or resolving innumerable disputes, we execute successful legal strategies and solutions in a cost-effective manner and with the same tenacity. We wouldn’t have it any other way.
Problem solving, however, requires a different skill set from legal sabre rattling. From the outset, we assess the client's legal position and give advice that incorporates real life considerations: the real objective; the significance of timely resolution; the costs of litigation.
It's said you can tell a lot about someone by the company they keep. We're enormously proud of the clients who have trusted us to represent them over the years.
When you choose us, we take “ownership” of the legal challenges you face, consuming our attention and efforts. When we go home at night, we still ponder the issues, possible approaches and solutions to a successful resolution – it’s our problem as well.
We are a small firm. We like to fancy ourselves an "old fashioned" type practice, dedicated to sound client counsel predicated on a firm understanding of our client's business or personal needs; a solid understanding of the law; and an awareness that the legal process, unless properly managed, can become a major part of a client's problem.
Conveniently located in downtown Hartford, we represent clients in our primary practice areas throughout Connecticut, and today represent animal owners in several states in New England and beyond.
We welcome your inquiries on how we can bring our skills and a niche for passionately representing our clients, to solving your legal needs.
